The Onkaparinga Saints compete in the Adelaide District
Softball competition at Softball SA's softball facilities at Barratt Reserve,
Our 'C' Grade won their 2010/2011 Grand Final 14 runs to 13 in
a thrilling come from behind 9 innings game that include 2 tie break innings.
They want to repeat their success again this season and our other teams also
want a piece of the action.
We cater for male and female players aged 8 and over in a
family friendly atmosphere.
New players, scorers, umpires, coaches and volunteers, whether
beginners or experienced are always welcome.
In addition to entering teams in the Adelaide District
Softball Competition we are also actively involved in Junior Development within
our 300+ sq Km zone that stretches from the Field
River/Reynell Road in the north to Sellicks Beach in the south and inland some
10 - 15 Km over this length. One of these activities
is our successful Friday afternoon Primary School softball competitions held at
the Hackham Sports& Social Club (HCS&SC) Complex.
We train, rain or shine, on Tuesday Nights at the HCS&SC
complex between 5:45pm and 6.45pm for Juniors (U11, U13 and U15) and from 7.00pm
for U17 and Seniors.
So come and join our growing club and enjoy our great sport
where you will find there's nothing soft about softball.
